Cold roll forming is a plastic bending process where the bending occurs gradually in several forming steps from an undeformed strip to a uniform profile.With the advantages of little energy and materials consumption,good surface quality,high dimensional accuracy,and larger relative stiffness and strength,one can find that roll forming products in numerous applications, for example buildings,vehicles, airplanes,machinery and appliances.Therefore,the requirements of cold-formed steel will be increasingly high,such as shape,size,material,etc.however,we still have many problems to solve.
